New York City Shopping

Hi!

I'm new here. Does anyone have any suggestions on where I should go shopping in NYC? I've never been there before and I'm so excited! Where should I shop first? I would love to go to Henri Bendel's! Has anyone ever been there before?

Thanks!! :P

Yeah I've been to Bendel's.

I prefer Soho or Nolita for shopping, but if you go up and down 5th avenue and madison you'll find all the designer boutiques.

This is a good website.
NY Metro Fashion

And I added this page, its the best of new york shopping. I live here and still haven't been to all the places to shop. Hope this helps.

Madison Ave (EVERYTHING, barneys, jean paul gaultier, yves st, laurent, ralph lauren, gucci, emanuel ungaro, calvin Klein, Dior is off of Madison, and ALOT MORE I cant think of), 5th Ave(Gucci, louis vuitton, versace, Fendi, saks, bergdorf goodman), Lexington (Diesel, Bloomingdales). They all run parallel to eachother. Another great area is SOHO....hope this helps

I've lived in NYC and know all the typical ones as many do. If you want the BEST in Men's cutting-edge fashion i've got two places:

1. Seven New York- Lower East Side. 180 Orchard Street
East side of Orchard street one block south of Houston
Xavier Delcour, Aesthetic Terrorists, Bernhard Willhelm, Raf Simons, Martin Margiela, Paper Denim Cloth Jeans, Initation of Christ. Cool stuff.... and great for the girls too w/ Boudicca, Marjan, As Four, etc.

2. A.
125 Crosby Street- 1 block South of Houston/ 1 block East of B'Way (SoHO)
212.941.8435

Features: Rick Owens, Les Hommes, Carpe Diem, Ann Demeulemeester, Dirk Schoenberger, Carol Christian Poell and a few others...

Enjoy! I always go to Barney's, Bergdorff, Jeffrey (W. 14 btwn 9th and 10th in the Meatpacking District) as well as IF in SoHo
