These nine mother-daughter teams certainly have. Besides good looks and natural talent, these mothers passed down a love of fashion to their daughters, all of whom have pursued careers in the industry. So, in honor of Mother’s Day (which is this Sunday), we wanted to pay tribute to moms (like mine!) whose careers in and love of fashion have helped pave the way for their daughters.

Model/actress Isabella Rossellini captured hearts everywhere as the face of Lancôme. Her daughter Elettra clearly inherited some good genes from her mom, as she's modeled for Abercrombie & Fitch, and also Lancôme–just like her mommy.

Kristen McMenamy made a name for herself in the 80s and 90s, modeling for top fashion houses like Chanel, Valentino, Versace and more. One of fashion's most formidable mother-daughter duos is Carine Roitfeld and her daughter Julia Restoin-Roitfeld. Carine's one of the most influential editors and stylists in the industry, having served as editor-in-chief of French Vogue, later going on to helm her own publication, C.R. Fashionbook and lend her talents to Harper's Bazaar as global fashion editor. Her daughter, Julia, is also a creative director, with a client list boasting names like Jean Paul Gaultier, Miu Miu, Theory, Zac Posen, Alexander Wang, Eddie Borgo, and many more.

Before Suri checked into elementary school, tabloids and fashion folks alike were buzzing about her wardrobe, which included pieces from Giorgio Armani, Chloé, Burberry, and more. It's easy to see where she got her love of expensive clothes from. Her mother, actress Katie Holmes, was at the helm of her own now-defunct label, Holmes & Yang.

You might best know Cyrinda Foxe from her role in Andy Warhol's 1977 flick, Bad. She married Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler and their daughter, Mia, has done plenty of modeling work herself. She's fronted campaigns for H&M and Lane Bryant.

Amber Le Bon definitely has some big shoes to fill, considering her mother was a former Guess? girl...and a Christian Dior, Chanel and more recently, Moschino girl.
