Charlotte Ronson Fall 2011 Runway Review

Following her debut at the Richard Chai Love show, Charlotte Free made yet another runway appearance – pink tresses and all – at this season’s Fall 2011 Charlotte Ronson show. Given the attention Free’s hair has gotten and combined with the pink wig Lady Gaga donned for next month’s Vogue cover, it wouldn’t be surprising to see a sharp increase in red manes in the coming months. Hair aside, Ronson showed a seemingly grunge-inspired collection with a bountifully wearable mix of mossy green separates, black leather and lace skirts, tops and jackets, flared 70s trousers, knit hats, boho maxi skirts, and ripped tights.

Focused on daywear, the collection was layered and cozy, and though some of the styling may have been a bit off, there were plenty of wearable separates and mini dresses to pick from.
