Calvin Klein Fall 2011 Runway Review

A nod to modern minimalism, Calvin Klein’s Fall 2011 was a fan pleaser. The silhouettes included A-line shift dresses, tailored coats and sleek trousers in a palette of grey, nude, black and white. Textures were varied and included fuzzy faux furs, metallics, silks and matte wools which added design interest to the monochromatic looks and simplistic lines.

The Calvin Klein label is known for classic clothing that always look fresh with simple yet unique designs. Francisco Costa continues to develop the brand and provide for the needs of Klein devotees, adding interesting fabrications while keeping the integrity of the label.

Outerwear was a major theme, providing plenty of options to keep Klein fans warm next fall. The collection was a success, including chic and loose fitting shapes that were sophisticated and wearable.
