L’WREN SCOTT S/S 2010

Always outfitted in the most extravagant of garments, the difference between Madame du Barry and the other women at Court was the hint of indiscretion and vulgarity.

Scott’s well choreographed, but still invasive, exposed backstage and the mistress-at-the-opera dresses contributed to the mysterious and luxe theme. For a designer so renowned for her sheath dresses, the designer did not disappoint loyal customers, but instead of more of the same, gave them something a bit lighter to usher them into spring.
