You might have gotten used to seeing the Kaiser in monochrome colours and sharp suits, but now you can catch a sight of the Chanel designer in neon yellow.

In a very unexpected collaboration, Road safety experts in France have tapped Karl to be ‘the face’ of a new campaign for summer, aiming to encourage drivers to equip themselves with security vests and triangles.

However, the yellow vest might be the only thing that came in as shocking in the campaign. Everything else--- the shades, the gloves, the bowtie and that solemn expression--- remains, even the tagline sounds like what Karl could have said:  "It's yellow, it's ugly, it doesn't go with anything, but it could save your life."
