She’s left her Fashion Director position at ELLE, and Project Runway is experiencing major growing pains — but Nina Garcia is still keeping herself stylish and busy.

 
Garcia has teamed up with Step Up Women’s Network and Bayer for the “YAZ: Step Up and Go Beyond” contest.  The icon will judge the contest with the Step Up Women's Network Executive Director and the Assistant Clinical Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at Northwestern University, Chicago.
 
The competition invites “designer hopefuls everywhere to submit contemporary and fashionable packaging concepts for the oral contraceptive YAZ.”
 
Open to anyone 18 or over, the contest asks for just an electronic file of an original design and a 100-word explanation.  Entries will be judged based on presentation of the female empowerment theme, creativity, discreet packaging, and stylishness.
