Gentlemen, if you’ve been wearing the same old sneakers for a while and are interested in alternative footwear but haven’t taken the time to research what’s currently hot, then there is no time like the present.
Long gone are the days of understated, plain footwear for guys. Recently, the boundaries of men’s footwear have broadened and you can find many different designers showcasing their take on the latest trends. There has been a rise in popularity of chunky, tall sneakers such as the ever-so-coveted Rick Owens and Raf Simons pairs. A slew of other styles of sneakers are also circulating, including more slender and streamlined designs such as the Lanvins. Either way, most of these new sneakers push the limits of conventional shape and construction of casual footwear for men.
