The Margiela L’Incognito sunglasses are now on the market, and possibly the coolest pair of shades ever created as well as the first pair this design house has ever produced. They’re hands down the most forward-thinking sunglasses designed in quite some time, almost painfully stylish.

The L’Incognitos give the illusion that they are a censored bar over the eye area, extending slightly past the sides of the face.

Much like the rest of Mr. Margiela’s work, these shades are forward thinking, unusual and sleek and yet still maintain the element of wearability - for the brave, that is.

As always, perfection has its price and these don’t come cheap, but if you’re a faithful addict of either Maison Martin Margiela or sunglasses in general, they are without a doubt worth checking out.

Currently the L’Incognitos shades are available at all fine Margiela shops and are available in opaque black, brown, mirrored or transparent.
