It was recently announced that Stila founded by Jeanine Lobell in 1994 and owned by the Estée Lauder Cos. Inc. will collaborate with Marchesa, designed by Keren Craig and Georgina Chapman, wife of movie-mogul Harvey Weinstein. The critc and celebrity-favorite, Marchesa, is worn by the likes of Jessica Alba and Anne Hathaway and their collaboration with Stila results in The Backstage Beauty Collection.

Stila who has partnered with Marchesa for their last four ready-to-wear shows, used the color palette from the 2008 Marchesa fall collection as the color inspiration for their collaboration which consist of three limited edition $40 palettes (black, red, pewter), each with one matte and two shimmery eye shadow shades and an eyeliner, and comes complete with a faux- leather rosettes that can be reused as a necklace or bracelet.

The palettes will be sold at Sephora through October and Allison Slater, vice president of retail marketing for Sephora said that the joining of one of the beauty industry's most talented artistry brands with the fashion industry's brightest stars has produced an exciting product collaboration and that Sephora is very pleased to be the retail partner for the launch of the collection.
 
 

The Marchesa duo will also get their own $22 lipstick – “Chapman” will be sheer red, while “Craig” will be nude.
