Not Just A Label Does T-Shirts

Not Just A Label has definitely made its mark as the go-to directory for up and coming designers with a strong focus on the avant-garde.

With a cherry-picked assortment of designers and collections curated by the likes of Lara Stone, NJAL now has something new to hit our radar.

Championing the belief that fashion can have a conscience, Not Just A Label has collaborated with new fashion talents – Patrick Mohr, Aoi Kotsuhiroi, and Spon Diogo –  to create a limited edition collection of organic cotton tees.

The collection, a toast to the eco-fashion sector, showcases the efforts of the three designers, whose sustainable sensibilities and creative flair burst from the seams, to create a rich amalgamation of sustainability and aestheticism.

The t-shirts are made from organic fair-trade cotton, as the company is “aiming to break the ground for the design of tomorrow” and believe that “ethical production is the only way to go.”

The strong divide and contrast between black and white infused simplicity with a masculine edge on the unisex t-shirt.

London-based Japanese designer Aoi Kotsuhiroi made her mark on the “Nowhere” tank top, emblazoned with her own poetic verse and unique design.

The sheer cotton fabric emphasizes the effortless chic, with jewelry design elements translated.

Design duo Spon Diogo perfectly balance out the collection with a graphic, structured print. The “Ying Yang” t-shirt features an optical illusion of sorts, which creates a visually stimulating and bold design.

As the black sheep of the industry, Not Just A Label has proven that fashion can be cutting-edge and sustainable, showing that you can still have sartorial panache with a conscience.
