The list of ten finalists for the coveted CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund price has been released, and it includes an awesome mix of designers.

This is the seventh year that the fund, founded by the Council of Fashion Designers of America and Vogue magazine, has been giving the covetable prize that not only helps the winners out financially, but catapults them into a more prominent spot in the public eye.
In order to determine the winners, a number of studio visits and in-depth interviews are conducted. Come October, each designer will reveal a one of a kind look they have created.
It’s hard to pick a favorite among so many talented designers, but I’m ecstatic that two of my favorite jewelry designers – Eddie Borgo and Pamela Love – have made the cut.
Joseph Altuzarra and Prabal Gurung, who were both nominated for this year’s Swarovski Award for Womenswear at the CFDA Awards, but ended up losing out to Jason Wu, are also high on the list of favorites.
Past winners of the fashion fund include Sophie Theallet, Alexander Wang, Rogan Gregory of Rogan, Doo-Ri Chung, Trovata, and Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough of Proenza Schouler.
