Jessica Simpson S/S 2011

Simpson, along with her sister and mother, were on hand to greet guests, while Pete Wentz, sister Ashley’s husband, DJ’d the event.

The showroom itself was surprisingly understated with lush white flower arrangements and beautiful crystal chandeliers, both of which served as the perfect backdrop for the affordable, easy-to-wear separates, dresses, and accessories.

Targeting what Simpson calls “the everyday woman,” the frugally priced line’s most eye-catching pieces were the accessories – namely the jewelry and shoes.

Chunky crystal bracelets and thick beaded cuffs, along with plateau faux snakeskin pumps and colorful cut-out sandals will surely satisfy those looking for of-the-moment trendy finds.

And, speaking of trendy, we’ve been seeing denim make its way onto everything from button shirts to corsets this past season, and with a new jeans collection already in stores, Simpson has astutely incorporated this into her line.

While it’s clear that Jessica Simpson is no Victoria Beckham-type fashion maven, her all-access design point is commendable, and her countless fans – especially the tween and teen-aged ones – will surely be all over her latest collection.
