For his pre-fall 2011 collection, Giorgio Armani made his statement in black head-to-toe looks.
The model’s blond hair was styled pencil straight, slightly covering her right eye– at times, topped off with a slick black chapeau!– giving a sleek urban feel to the collection. Armani’s vision is clear: he’s all about the little black suit for the pre-fall 2011 season.
If you’re going the suit route, think slightly flared bottoms cuffed at the ankle boots, perfect for showing off the season’s footwear, and fitted jackets in a variety of materials.
For eveningwear, the designer switched things up a bit and introduced a pale pink dress, as well as a grey patterned strapless dress. The most notable look, however, was the head-to-toe pale pink look which included slouchy pants and a cozy thin top that seemed perfectly fit for a crisp fall afternoon. Lest we forget that Armani is a couturier, the designer finished off his collection with a gorgeous embroidered bustier gown that oozed red carpet ready.
