Brioni Fall 2011 Runway Review

The Brioni collection included designs created in luscious fabrications in a variety of neutral tones with a few exciting surprises. There was an evident 70s theme in the disco, polka dot inspired, bell bottom pants in white and silver and the blousy tops. Most of the looks were very wearable for day but a few brighter pieces were more trendy and appropriate only at night.

The more luxurious pieces included crocodile skins in chocolate brown, cream color fur coats, sexy lace dresses and tailored pants in white, fuchsia and bright purple. The more reserved pieces included chic brown and beige color overcoats and simple dresses in wool.

The collection was elegant and the styling kept simple to emphasize the sophistication and design details of the clothing. Lace, leather, and fur were used in a way to entice customers of all ages and could be interpreted with a bit of a youthful edge.
