Loewe Fall 2011 Runway Review

How do you take an office look and make it sexy? Design it in leather. That was Loewe’s solution to adding a little sex appeal to the corporate looks and outerwear options shown for the Fall 2011 collection. From champagne color leathers in blouses and pencil skirts to bright colored overcoats and fur vests, the collection was full of sexy options for the conservative lady that doesn’t want to show too much.

Silhouettes were fitted at the waist with a slight flair at the skirt hem. Sheath dresses and pretty prints and constructed leather were chic and sophisticated. A series of identical three quarter length sleeve overcoats were shown in a variety of colors including aqua, tan and red.

A structured, curved shoulder blouse and shortened sleeve overcoat were very modern and flattering when paired with short skirts. Overall the collection was a classic line for the conservative woman with a bit of sensuality and style.
