Men’s Spring 2012 Milan Fashion Week

The only thing that could possible outshine the news that Donatella Versace will be collaborating with H&M in the Fall is the Spring 2012 men’s show she staged in which a slew of actors and professional athletes including Darren Criss, Chace Crawford, Ryan Kwanten, Zachary Quinto, Carmelo Anthony, and Dwyane Wade gathered front row. One thing’s for sure, love or hate Versace’s signature Medusa, Donatella knows how to put on a show. She wasn’t the only one who staged a worthy spectacle these last few days in Milan however.

Jil Sander creative director Raf Simons’ sent models down the runway with colorful snakeskin bags, sometimes worn around the neck, while Christopher Bailey continued to show his affinity for hats and classic Burberry (below) mixed with a modern spin (think graphic prints and mosaic-like appliqué).

From the hats to the low cut tops, it was all about golf with a touch of western flare at Prada (below).

Gucci went for a more suave, effortlessly cool look with a collection inspired by English gentleman (below), while it was all Elvis at the always quirky Moschino (bottom).
