If First Lady Michelle Obama has any plans to travel to Texas or India in the coming months she might find some sartorial inspiration in Thakoon Panichgul's Spring 2012 collection. Cowboy hats, bandannas, intricate embroidery, western shirt-style collars on dresses, saris, and paisley prints in vibrant shades of turquoise, orange, red and plenty of metallics made up Thakoon's bright, patterned collection.The abundance of color wasn’t only in the clothing, however, as models walked out with hair pinned up and coated with pink or blue coloring. Taken together it may have been a little much, but there were plenty of individual blazers, pleated skirts, shorts and peplum-accented and sari-inspired dresses to appeal.
