Fashion month has come to an end, and we can all agree it’s been an especially exciting few weeks. We saw celebrities in the same dress in New York, Beyonce in London, and flaming shoes in Milan, but here are some of the moments we loved best from this past week in Paris.
A Standing Front Row
There are so many jokes hidden in the breaking benches at Balenciaga that I won’t even start, but fashion’s elite front row was made to stand after editors and celebrities alike took a tumble when the benches started to break.
Bill Gaytten
It’s easy to criticize Bill Gaytten as interim creative head at Dior and John Galliano, but we can all agree it was a step up from the couture season. We’re all waiting with bated breath to hear the announcement coming from the house of Dior in a few weeks but even if his collections were paint-by-numbers versions of the originals, you can’t fault him for trying.

Everything about Haider Ackermann
By far one of the strongest collections this season, I couldn’t get the rich jewel tones and tailored pieces out of my head.

The Carousel Set
At Louis Vuitton. If this is Marc Jacobs’ last collection with the brand, as rumored, he is going out with a bang as this was by far the most elaborate set of the season.

The Shell Clutches
At Chanel. I’m not sure what you’ll fit in this conch shaped clutch, if anything at all, but it sure is pretty.

See what else we can't stop thinking about from the Spring 2012 collections
in New York, London, and Milan.
