Thakoon Panichgul’s Pre-Fall 2012 Thakoon collection gave knits an innovative spin by using them, for example, as part of a shirt dress or by combining them with unexpected fabrics like leather. The result was a collection that felt fresh and innovatitive while nonetheless staying true to Thakoon’s clean, crisp, and ladylike aesthetic.
For his lower priced Addition label, Thakoon went in a fittingly casual direction with striped, military-inspired, and chinoiserie pieces for a collection that included plenty of closet staples.

From palazzo pants to skinny trousers; from flowing skirts to tailored dresses; from loose vests to fitted blazers, this season’s Neville and Marcus Wainwright-designed Rag & Bone collection had a little something for everyone. Pieces came in both monochrome neutral hues, colorblocks, and multicolored prints.

For Pre-Fall 2012 Calvin Klein went with a dark fall palette to fashion form-flattering, retro ladylike looks that included a number of stand-out monochrome coats and mostly fitted waist silhouettes.
