Though Ports 1961 is now designed by Tia Cibani’s sister, Fiona, the brand has lost none of its magic. Ports' garments are incredibly intricate in their construction and it’s somewhat of a shame that they opt to do runway shows instead of presentations each season because there are so many details lost on the runway.
High-shine fabrics were used for structured tops, while textured ones made for beautifully sculpted ones. Ports only uses the most luxurious of fabrics and it shows, especially this season where each look was relatively monochrome allowing the cuts, drape, and fabrics to take center stage.
When it comes to understated luxury Ports 1961 pieces always rank among some of the finest and this season’s mod-ish collection with its touches of exotics and mink was no exception.
