Moschino Cheap & Chic Fall 2012 Runway Review

Shown for the first time in London, most of the looks were decidedly 60s mod with peplum finished coats, collared dresses completely covered in paillettes, and oversized bows, which were shown alongside a variety of rusty colored knits, including knit dresses.

Never one to abandon Moschino’s signature embellishments, Rossella Jardini worked in pearls and quirky prints (think oversized lips) for the girly, candy-colored collection. As to why she opted to show this season’s line-up in London despite the brand’s longstanding Italian heritage, Jardini told Vogue.com, “I love the Queen and wanted to congratulate her for the Jubilee. And London is such a beautiful city and then of course there’s the link with Cheap & Chic and its British sense of humour.“
