Salvatore Ferragamo Fall 2012 Runway Review

The gothic trend continues at Salvatore Ferragamo where black, leather, and lace took to the runway with gusto. The standouts were fashioned in military-inspired shapes that showed off Massimiliano Giornett's sharp tailoring, while rusty hues, velvet, and off-the-shoulder silhouettes made for a feminine counter-play.

Particularly worthy of singling out were slit knee-length pencil skirts, belted long-sleeve lace dresses, and leather power suits that recalled the designer's memorable Fall 2011 collection.
