Given his omnipresence on the red carpet, it’s a pretty safe bet that you’ll get a slew of cocktail and evening dresses at an Elie Saab show, so it was a pleasant surprise that the designer offered much in the way of daywear this season. The opening peplum skirt suit, fur coats, high waist jumpers, and a beautiful dual tone draped jumper stood out as particularly strong. That said, no one can argue with the mesmerizing effect of Saab’s eveningwear. Whether it be a body hugging monochrome jersey dress or a slinky gold sequin gown, each of the floor length looks that made it into the show were breathtaking. It's also worth noting that slits were incredibly daring this season with one look even showing a peek of the model's undergarments...Angelina Jolie, are you watching?
