Lucian Matis presented his Fall 2012 collection at The Fairmont Royal York in Toronto. The ballroom was the perfect setting for the decadent gowns. For a very brief moment, I felt as though I was in Paris or Milan. The offerings were quite dramatic, with lace and feathers flowing gracefully off the beautiful models. Lucian's inspiration for this season came from nature, leading to pieces that reflected on its symmetry and patterns. The details of each look were definitely impressive; the collection consisted of everything I would want to wear to feel elegant, sexy and gorgeous. Nothing like a floor length gown and some nude underlay to make a woman feel like a princess. Now if only I had somewhere to go…
