Dior Homme Gets Inspired by the Navy and More Paris Men’s Spring 2013

Hermes

Luxe sportswear and debonair summer suiting made for a sophisticated, laid back collection of neutral and vibrant yellow separates. It being Hermes, leather, crocodile, and lambskin were also woven into the summery collection.

Alexander Wang

If it ain’t broke don’t fix it seems to be Wang’s motto, and with good reason. Sticking to his sporty minimalist signature, the designer showed an entirely black and white collection (with the exception of a few touches of red). Standouts included tailored cropped-over-the-knee pants, fitted leather jackets, leather accented tops, and colorblocked sweaters.

Lanvin

Pink tops, gold lame suiting, and baby blue patterned suits may be niche, but there will be widespread appeal to the trim cut suits and tailored shorts shown in this season’s Lanvin collection.

Dior Homme

Fitted, buttoned up, austerely tailored, and heavy on navy, this season’s Dior Homme show went in a naval direction. Red served as a welcome accent color, including on the laces of dark hued shoes.
