Atelier Versace Kicks off #Paris Haute Couture Week

Donatella Versace was the first to kick off one of the most important and extravagant fashion weeks of the year, Paris Haute Couture Week. As expected, Hollywood’s biggest and brightest stars were there to celebrate. WWD tweeted, “The star-studded Atelier Versace front row included Pierce Brosnan, Christina Hendricks and the cast of Glee.” Additional stars confirmed by British Vogue included “, Elizabeth Banks and.” 

Lea Michele, who brought her on- and off-screen boyfriend, Cory Monteith, tweeted pre-show, “I’m so excited to be attending the VERSACE fashion show today in Paris! It’s such an honor! I can’t wait!” 

Anna Dello Russo also showed off her excitement tweeting, “1st day of Paris Haute Couture attending Versace Atrlier [sic] Show in Versace dress.” 

One of the show’s highlights, as #Instagramed by Red Carpet Fashion included, “Karlie Kloss working the Atelier  runway. Putting the Haute in Haute Couture.” ShowStudio.com added, “The incredible Karlie Kloss doing what she can do so well; looking totally unbelievably beautiful!” Couldn’t agree more.

Raf Simons Proves Massive Popularity While Debuting First Dior Collection

“More elegant than elegant – the verdict is in on Raf Simons’ debut for ,” tweeted British Vogue

Derek Blasberg added, “The Dior show just ended. In the last 13 minutes, Raf Simons just single-handedly altered the contemporary haute couture landscape. Bravo!” 

Nina Garcia tweeted, “Take a look at this coat: very @dior and very Raf. I will always remember what I’ve seen today…A new start for @Dior.” Diane von Furstenberg agreed tweeting, “Raf Simons did a SUPERB Dior show ! Very DIOR ! Another talented Belgian ! Love Diane.” 

Simons’ stunning collection wasn’t the only thing that had his guests astounded. Blasberg marveled at the splendid floral decor tweeting, “Why are there no flowers left in Paris? Because the walls of every salon in Dior’s venue are papered in blooms. (I’m in a white orchid room).” Fashionista.com tweeted an image of the impressive “Flower walls for Raf Simons’ Dior couture debut.” 

As a show of support and fashion curiosity, the industry’s top designers and editors came to see Simons’ debut. “Dior’s show is turning out to be a designer love fest: In addition to Tisci, Alber Elbaz and Donatella Versace are here for Raf’s big debut!,” tweeted Blasberg.” W Magazine‘s Karla Martinez added, “Azzedine Alaia, Marc Jacobs, Donatella Versace, DVF, Olivier Theskens, Riccardo Tisci (in front of me) all at Dior.” However, the guest list was not only restricted to just designers. Blasberg added, “Wow, famous faces keep rolling in at Dior’s couture show: Marion Coitillard, Charlotte Rampling, Stella Tennant… Raf is one popular boy!”

Blake Lively is Everyone’s Best Dressed of the Week

With two movies slated for summer releases and serving as the face of Gucci’s new fragrance, Blake Lively is back on the style scene. Not only has our favorite blonde bombshell made super fashionable statements on the red carpet, she did it as the “Best Dressed of the Week.” 

Red Carpet Fashion tweeted their “Best Dressed Of The Week – Blake Lively In Zuhair Murad Couture” Harpers Bazaar agreed tweeting, “How major is Blake Lively’s hair from ‘Savages’ LA premiere?” To which Ivanka Trump responded, “She is stunning!” 

Teen Vogue tweeted, “‘s Blake Lively is one of our best-dressed celebs of the week in a flirty printed  frock.” Sealing the deal as this week’s Twitterati “It” Girl, the end-all-be-all of the fashion books, Vogue, tweeted their two cents, “Blake Lively in  and  made our .”
