Rebekah Price's high-end bohemian jewelry is more at home on the necks of dedicated fashionistas or the shelves of Holt Renfrew than the virtual resale racks of eBay. On August 6, however, Price teamed with the auction site for a 10-day exclusive collaboration, offering up some of her most coveted pieces for sale under the digital hammer. Prices range from a modest $50 up to $800, but don't be fooled by the low-balling as the trinkets still retain their usual sparkle of antique Swarovski crystals and coloured vintage-inspired stones.
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Price moved to New York where she studied design at the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology. She later worked as a personal assistant to Elie Tahari before starting her own company in Toronto, while simultaneously raising three children. Her work is now favoured by the likes of Solange Knowles and Kristen Cavallari, and the bold, glam pieces she crafts range from cuffs to cufflinks, peacocks to peonies. They can all be found in the one-off eBay event, along with what is sure to be the biggest draw: an exclusive pair of rose gold teardrop earrings featuring clear-cut Swarovski crystals for $100.
