Norisol Ferrari Spring 2013 Runway Review

Many looks came finished in dramatic Old Hollywood style with structured hats and a number of them – particularly the cocktail dresses, fitted blazers, and pencil skirts – showed off the models’ curves. It was refreshing to see a designer opt to have real women wear her clothes (i.e. not teenagers, which is who most designers have modeling their clothing); it served her well, helping to prove that even women past their 30s can look fantastic in body hugging silhouettes when said garments are kept streamlined and sophisticated – in this case, Ferrari was able to achieve this by keeping embellishments to a minimum and focusing on neutral hues and luxe fabrics.
