When it comes to London Fashion Week, the fuss is usually focused around Embankment and Covent Garden, with the exception of a few special locations, so shoppers of Chelsea might have been slightly surprised to see a marquee pop up in Sloane Square for the London presentation of Rag & Bone. Whenever a designer shows in multiple cities, not that it happens very often, there's always a chance the crowds will be bored and restless, having already seen the collection. That's definitely not what happened with Rag & Bone as David Neville and Marcus Wainwright didn't just present to a new audience but in an entirely new format. It was half show and half presentation with models such as Cara Delevingne and Jourdan Dunn (who seem to be together a lot this week) walking towards full-length screens which, with the help of high-speed cameras, displayed images of the models long after they passed. With an impressive crowd and sunny London as a backdrop, this didn't feel like a tired second showing but instead the best store launch ever.
