Jonathan Saunders Spring 2013 Runway Review

This season, Jonathan Saunders relied more on eye-catching fabrics than prints to make a bold statement, opting to use various light reflecting, quilted, and boldly colored textiles. Some geometric patterns were also in the mix, but they were most often styled with monochromatic separates.

Silhouettes took on a seventies feel, most notably with flared trousers, boxy oversized blazers, plunging neckline dresses, and triangle bras, a feeling which was accented with colorblocked and ombré dresses and separates. Stripes were also prominently featured (Marc Jacobs-style), making for a variety of bold tops, blazers, and dresses.
