Erdem Spring 2013 Runway Review

It was pure ladylike sophistication at Erdem Moralioglu's Erdem collection this season — and that's quite a feat given the amount of patchworked animal skins that made their way out on the runway. With lace, pastel hues, 3-D flowers, and streamlined fitted silhouettes, however, the designer was able to temper the bolder fabrics for an undeniably chic collection.

The only misstep came with two one-shoulder dresses with tulle overlay which looked as though they were melding three outfits into one. High collar dresses, bra top dresses, and lace paneled cocktail wear were particular standouts and more than made up for any of the somewhat jumbled looks.
