This season Giles Deacon opted to forego his cartoonish flare (no Eek for Spring 2013) for an embellished collection of grown-up frocks. The season's most beautiful pieces were inspired by a broken window and made for gorgeous black and white laser-cut leather and silk photo print pieces, some of which were sculpted at the top. The craftsmanship displayed this season surpasses anything that Deacon has done in the past and made for truly stunning, heavily embellished (think lots of crystal embroidery) laser-cut eveningwear. For the more understated, the designer also showed fitted blazers and slender trousers.
