Krizia Spring 2013 Runway Review

Tans, neutrals, pale blue, and animal prints (think black panther heads and zebra stripes) made for a chic safari-themed Krizia collection. Creative director Mariuccia Mandelli kept silhouettes casual and roomy and a number of looks, notably outerwear, played with volume for visually interesting takes on classics like tan trench coats.

The collection was at its strongest when focused on sheer paneled dresses and languid monochrome separates, especially when they were accented with gold, rather than when it veered into overly embellished territory and printed looks.
