Dries Van Noten Spring 2013 Runway Review

The aforementioned plaids came in a variety of iterations often mixed and matched with florals, checks, or contrasting plaids. As for the silhouettes, for the most part they were loose and often harkened back to menswear, while the designer’s signature romanticism shone through in the alluring casualness of the season’s slip-dresses, pajamas, and bathrobes (let’s just hope bathrobes as outerwear don’t become a thing).

It wasn’t all casual PJs and easy plaids however, stunning details were added via appliqués and embroidery everywhere from skirts to sleeves.
