Christian Dior Spring 2013 Runway Review

It’s clear that Simons poured over the Dior archives and closely studied the brand, which resulted in a stellar lineup that stayed true to the Dior DNA while showing off Simons’ knack for tailoring. A series of black tuxedo suits opened the show and were followed by patterned and layered dresses and jackets. Silhouettes ranged a wide gamut and the designer showed off a number of styles from the draped to simple A-line. The most remarkable pieces, however, were the eveningwear garments that paired black sweaters with ballgown skirts which finished off the wearable and luxe Spring 2013 collection.
