Yohji Yamamoto Spring 2013 Runway Review

We've seen surprisingly little military inspiration this season up until the Yohji Yamamoto show. The designer not only showed aviator/military-inspired khaki looks, but a slew of bright red loosely draped dresses and two veiled looks.

There was a tattered feel to much of the collection which included a number of uneven hems. Stepping away from the military inspiration, however, the collection also included striped separates and sheer bottoms along with some Flintstones-esque jewelry and draping making for a lineup that, while not the most cohesive, did offer a variety in the way of artsy, laid-back daywear.
