Vanessa Bruno Spring 2013 Runway Review

Vanessa Bruno may have been inspired by menswear for much of the tailoring in her Spring 2013 lineup, but the Parisian designer kept it soft, offsetting sharp cuts with lightweight fabrics and clean lines. Fitted jackets, high-collared blouses, and knits were presented alongside silk slip dresses, sheer layers, and culottes and the designer's seasonal trousers came cropped at the ankle allowing the models to show off their gladiator-like footwear.

The designer focused on neutrals, along with blue, red, beige, and seersucker and paisley-like prints for her casual spring lineup.
