Balenciaga showed on Day 3 of Paris Fashion Week, and it wouldn’t really be a Balenciaga show if the casting agent didn’t put together some exclusive deals for the brand’s current favorite models and newly discovered faces. This season saw some runway exclusive repeats as a few Fall 2012 exclusives and campaign girls hit the runway once again, in addition to some promising newcomers who could possibly be in the running for Balenciaga’s Spring 2013 ad campaign. Here’s a look at the ladies Balenciaga couldn’t help getting exclusive with.
Kirstin Kragh Liljegren
This fresh-faced newcomer from Denmark (who has previously appeared in a Balenciaga campaign) opened the show with the conviction of a seasoned runway veteran.
“She looked incredible. I never expected her to look that confident… but she pulled it off. Bravo!” myran exclaimed.
In the past, Juliane has been an exclusive in two Balenciaga campaigns, but the Spring 2013 collection marks her runway debut for the brand.
Forum members had eagerly been anticipating her potential appearance on the runway.
“She looks so stunning!” la.vie.in.mode posted.
The Balenciaga show marked this Ukrainian model’s second big semi-exclusive of the season; her first was in New York for Alexander Wang.
“So glad she did Balenciaga,” IloveDiorHomme posted.
Keep an eye out for Irina, she’s definitely one to watch.
Spring 2013 marks Juliet’s second consecutive season as a worldwide semi-exclusive for Balenciaga. The model also starred in the label’s Fall 2012 campaign and Spring 2013 Capsule lookbook.
“Gorgeous! She should have been the opener or closer,” HeatherAnne declared. “Hope she spreads her wings next season, she's too amazing to be confined to one brand for too long.”
Juliet also walked down the Nina Ricci runway while in Paris.
Julier was an exclusive on Balenciaga’s Fall 2012 runway and she also featured in the collection’s accompanying campaign.
Cologne_rocks had called her “hands down the best girl in the campaign.”
She returned to the Balenciaga runway as an exclusive for the Spring 2013 collection.
Chiharu first appeared as a semi-exclusive at Prada in Milan. Her exclusive at Balenciaga doesn’t make for a bad follow-up.
“She's making me proud!” matsichan92 exclaimed. “Really excited yet at the same time curious how her career is going to turn out to be from all of this exclusivity.”
Like Julier Bugger, Kremi was an exclusive in Fall 2012 and also appeared in Balenciaga’s Fall 2012 ad campaign.
“Beautiful as always!” teaars exclaimed.
Nora, a new face who hails from Germany, made her debut on the Balenciaga runway. Not a bad way to start a catwalk career.
“Thrilled to see her there, out of the never before walked Balenciaga girls she's the only one who I felt had the true essence I associate with the brand,” HeatherAnne posted.
“I smell a campaign...” tapenerd predicted after seeing this British model close the show in a worldwide exclusive.
HeatherAnne shared her own reaction to Sam: “One of the very few who brought me any excitement at Balenciaga, she seems to fit their aesthetic perfectly (unlike all these new baby faces they are pushing). She looked absolutely gorgeous.”
