Chloe Spring 2013 Runway Review

This year marks Chloe's 60th anniversary and the Spring 2013 Clare Waight Keller designed collection did the house proud. Showing a refined take on sportswear, Keller pumped up the volume and included a slew of girly embellishments — think ruffles, flower applique, mesh-like overlay, and sheer panels for a playfully youthful and feminine collection.

The color palette was kept to soft neutrals, white, a few pastels, and a little bit of black along with a few stripes and floral prints. While there was much to fawn over in the daywear including crisp monochrome Bermuda shorts, flower embellished trousers, stripped button downs, and ruffle collared tops, it was the season's cocktail looks that stood out as the most remarkable, particularly those with oversized ruffles and layers of embellished sheer fabrics.
