Miu Miu Spring 2013 Runway Review

After showing it at Prada and now at Miu Miu, it's clear that Miuccia Prada is trying to make a case for fur for spring. The designer's fur stoles accented her moody hued collection which offered more grown-up cuts than we're used to seeing from the Prada diffusion line.

Fifties-style below-the-knee pencil skirts, 3/4 sleeve loose coats, relaxed skirt suits, boxy tops, and opera gloves were shown alongside demure below-the-knee abstract print dresses that often appeared to have been influenced by traditional Japanese dress. Soft denim pieces were also in the mix and a number of the shoes this season came topped with oversized rhinestone embellishments.
