Thakoon Fall 2013 Runway Review

Thakoon Panichgul said that he wanted to capture the "essence of summer" with his Fall 2013 collection. Fittingly, the show kicked off with a black dress with an oversized embroidered dragonfly front and center. The collection then progressed into a number of sheer paneled looks, which were interspersed with fur accented separates for a play on soft and hard.

Silhouettes were a mix of ladylike ones (think cinched waists and skirts with a bit of flounce) and more boxy separates for a lineup that was lightweight and romantic, while also being wholly appropriate for fall.
