Tommy Hilfiger Fall 2013 Runway Review

When you're a billion dollar company, why mess too much with a winning formula? Fittingly, Tommy Hilfiger showed a collection that gave us classic prep with a British flair — think plaid, argyle, tartans and herringbone. Silhouettes tended towards 60s mod and Hilfiger made a strong case for outerwear, showing a coat, parka, jacket or blazer over nearly every look.

The palette was kept dark with the exception of a few ivory looks and while there was nothing particularly new about anything shown, there was much to love in the ease of the cable knits, single button coats, laser cut leather dresses, slim suits and argyle over houndstooth prints.
