Versace Fall 2013 Runway Review

Versace takes on punk the only way that Donatella Versace can — with lots of high slits, PVC, opulently plush and brightly colored fur, vinyl bodysuits worn provocatively under sweeping coats, slashed dresses, gold studded leather, studded boots, body-grazing black pants and animal spotted mink.

Not for the tame, even by Versace standards, the collection is ripe for a confident party girl. That said, it's clear that much of this collection was for show and that a good chunk of the looks will be edited or never produced…at least let's hope we don't see anyone in a halter dress with harness straps and tartan print.
