Gianfranco Ferre Fall 2013 Runway Review

Designers Federico Piaggi and Stefano Citron get a lot of flack for their work at Ferre as they continue to try and revive the house to its former glory. Much of the criticism thrown their way is unwarranted, however, something proven once again with their collection this season.

The duo presented a collection full of architectural pieces in a mostly black, white and neutral-toned color palette. Perfectly in keeping with the structured looks we've seen thus far this season, the collection included dresses cinched conspicuously in an obi-like fashion, jackets with exaggerated collars, dramatic V-neck jumpers and a slew of beautifully sculpted cocktail dresses and coats.
