Isabel Marant Fall 2013 Runway Review

One of Isabel Marant's most commercial collections in seasons, the designer restrained herself to a mostly black and white palette and looks were often monochrome. Nailhead studs livened up separates and dresses, most of which were shown layered and tied into the designer's flare for a rock 'n' roll style of dress. Leather and suede leggings, lean but slightly slouchy trousers, black and white patterned minis, tops and dresses  with a cut-out above the bustline and fitted sweaters were similarly on-brand and easy to wear. As for footwear, it moved beyond the designer's omnipresent sneaker and included some fantastic black below-the-knee boots.
