Danish supermodel Helena Christensen puts on a bold front as a pirate temptress in this shot for a new Agent Provocateur lingerie campaign.
The 39-year-old model makes a special guest appearance in a raunchy new campaign for the lingerie house, and promptly steals the show from model of the moment Alice Dellal.
It’s a stick up: Helena Christensen chooses an unusual outfit to play pirate queen and uses her seduction techniques on a handsome rakish pirate in a new promotional video.
The Danish supermodel leads a merry band of pretty models, including Alice Dellal, the fashion rebel and heiress who is the daughter of former Brazilian model Andrea Dellal and property tycoon, Guy Dellal.
The video is inspired by artist William Hogarth’s ‘A Rake’s Progress and ‘Strolling actresses in a Barn’. Agent Provocateur founder Joe Corre said: ‘Helena fits the bill perfectly as our Pirate Queen.’
The action takes place in the depths of a galleon with much drunken and debauched revelry, featuring a posse of pirate-princesses in flimsy scraps of lace, toting cutlasses.
Pirate Queen Helena appears in a red lace basque, brandishing a dagger, and succeeds in seducing the captain of the ship who is unaware he is being robbed blind and facing a mutiny.
Helena follows in the footsteps of teenage model Daisy Lowe, actress Maggie Gyllenhaal and David Bailey’s wife Catherine.
