Rosemount Australian Fashion Week is taking place this year from April 27th through May 1st against the backdrop of Circular Quay. A selection of Australia and the Asia Pacific’s best designers will present their collections to the fashion industry throughout the five-day affair, which takes place at the Overseas Passenger Terminal (OPT) in Sydney. As is the case with New York Fashion Week, the official schedule features designers in on-site and off-site Collection Shows.
The Spring/Summer 2009 shows started with brother and sister design team Camilla and Marc – their namesake collection was inspired by sex, strength and skin. Among the other designer showings are Anna & Boy, Bec & Bridge, Christopher Esber, Ginger & Smart, Illionaire, Jayson Brunsdon, Juli Grbac, Kate Sylvester, Nicola Finetti, Romance Was Born, Sara Phillips, sass & bide, The Cassette Society, Therese Rawsthorne, TV, Willow, Zambesi, and Zimmermann.
