US VOGUE SEPTEMBER ISSUE: THE EDITORIALS

Charlize Theron may have snatched up the cover of this year’s September issue, but with only 584 pages in total, Karlie and Liya filled up the majority of the fashion tome. Mert & Marcus, Meisel and Steven Klein shot the editorials.

Looks a little bit like the editorial with Doutzen Kroes in W August 2007 of the same title, but that one focused on fur. Here, Natalia is acting as little red riding hood, wearing mainly red pieces from the Fall season.

And this reminds me of the ‘Paris Je T’aime’ editorial exactly two years ago (that mega 840 pages issue).

This serves as an explanation as to why Vogue is so obssessed with her!

“She’s an amazing model. She knows clothes. She has tons of energy. She will add things to the shoot that I would never have thought of. She thinks from the point of view of an editor and of a photographer, not just that of a model.” — Steven Meisel on Karlie Kloss.
