MODELS TO WATCH FOR SPRING ’10

Yulia Leontieva

She’s never walked New York or London before, but wrapped up last season with stints for Prada, Miu Miu and Givenchy. Her eyes reminds me of Maryna Linchuk, it’s the same arch in the brows that gives her a very fierce stare.

Madisyn Ritland

It’s the icy gaze that’s grabbing all the attention.

Melodie Dagault

 Kelsey van Mook

Number one for Givenchy Fall ’09, Vogue Australia cover etc…

Alisa Matviychuk

I don’t approve of models who are too young and too skinn,y but since she walked Calvin Klein, Miu Miu Prada resort pre-season it’s the stereotypical story of of model-on-the-rise.

Rachel Rutt

Half Singaporean, half Australian, this model has already done 3.1 Phillip Lim and Doo.Ri resort, and has been earning the name ‘the new Devon Aoki’.

Charlotte

She’s indonesian, has killer bone structure and has cause quite a lot of buzz in the industry already.

Ylonka Verheul

A hybrid of Catherine McNeil and Lara Stone? Plus she stands at 5ft11.5 (182cm)

Tao Okamoto

Seriously, the edgier Asian models — Daul and Tao — are very refreshing to see.  Just look at Tao she can rock anything from Ralph Lauren to Uniqlo.

Karlie Kloss

As usual, she will probably be almost all of the designers’ favorite finale model.  She gets picked to wear gowns/long dresses at the end of shows so often, because just carries them so well.

Dree Hemmingway

The grandaughter of Ernest Hemmingway…I totally ate my words when I saw her in editorials.  She’s probably one of the best socialite/actress/’it’ girl models around.

Anna de Rijk

Opened Prada resort, enough said.

Dorothea Barth Jorgensen

Karolin Wolter

Karmen Pedaru and Sigrid Agren.
